'Teamwork is the ability to
work together towards a common vision whereas leadership is the ability to
direct and lead everyone towards a common vision.'
Today, our school had one of its biggest events where teamwork and leadership were celebrated. It was the induction of the PTA and the student leaders for the current academic year. The event was presided by the State Minister of planning, housing and infrastructure and the former Mayor of Addu City, Mr. Abdullah Sadiq along with other dignitaries and well-wishers of our school. Here are some of the highlights of the event.
Ms. Fathimath Shifaza, the former Vice President of the PTA delivered a report about the achievements and initiatives of the previous academic year. The former PTA members were felicitated with certificates for their astounding contribution to our institution. This was followed by the induction of the PTA for this academic year.
The present Vice President of PTA Ms. Rizna Zareer, shared the expectations and goals of the PTA for this academic year. This marked the end of the PTA induction.
After this, the prefects and the leaders were inducted. It began with the oath taking. A total of 28 student leaders, 7 senior prefects and 27 prefects were inducted. The student leaders were then felicitated. The event ended with photoshoot and refreshments.
The effort of the management, leading teachers, teachers, student leaders and PTA along with the presence of the honourable chief guest and other dignitaries resulted in this successful and blissful event.
