World Cancer Day 2023

Each year, 4th February is commemorated as World Cancer Day. World Cancer Day 2023 marks the second year of the three-year campaign ‘CLOSE THE CARE GAP’ centered on the issue of equity.  This year is about uniting people across the world to call for change and to take action.

On this day, hundreds of events and fundraisers take place around the world to bring individuals, communities, and organizations together to campaign and deliver the powerful reminder that those affected by cancer are not alone, and we all share a responsibility in reducing the global impact of this disease.

Students of 7B presented a skit to aware the students on cancer. The skit was focused on causes of cancer and how to take preventative measures.

With the right strategies, a lot can be done at an individual, community and policy level for prevention of cancer. Taking the time to understand what you, your family and community can do to make a difference will indeed enable ways to help the affected community.

Let us do our part in making a cancer-free world !!
