The Weekend Camp

Our school's cub scouts and little maids actively participated in the yearly camp on the third and fourth of June. The camp had 28 pre-cubs, 46 cub scouts, 37 stars, 42 little maids, 8 cub scout leaders, and 9 little maid leaders. Every girl and boy at camp has the opportunity to be a part of a strong sisterhood or brotherhood that will support them through thick and thin. Camp is the ideal place for kids to test themselves in a safe and encouraging environment. It also allows children to disconnect from technology and connect with nature, allowing them to express themselves.

Furthermore, camping provides students with access to empowering mentors and role models who can assist them in achieving their goals. Singing loud, goofy songs is almost a sport at camp. Personal growth, the courage to be themselves, and the willingness to try new things are all encouraged at camp. Camping is a whole developing experience.

This year the Littlemaid's camp was called Blossoms 4 and the cub scout's camp was called Mowgli's Camp. The camp began with the enrollment of the little maids and stars along with the investiture of pre-cubs and cub scouts. This was followed by games as there were many activities that were planned for the participants.

A visit to the Police Academy, fire rescue session, first-aid session, and knotting were some of the key activities. There was a campfire as well. There were a lot of other fun activities for the campers as well.

The campers acquired interpersonal, intrapersonal, and life skills during the camp that will help them flourish in life. At the end of the camp, participation certificates, proficiency badges, and gifts were awarded to the campers.
