Stop Procrastinating!

Bernard Albertson was a man who published 5 books. He had a very tough childhood and lived in the back of an old car. He wasn't educated so he taught himself how to read and write. He went to college and studied scripture there. He raised 5 children and he lost a lot of his family members. He completed a computer program with a blackboard. Sadly, Bernard Albertson passed away on the 10th of July this year from an undisclosed illness. You can still watch his YouTube videos on his channel which are very heart-warming. I have watched a few myself.
"Young people, you're the backbone of this world" he said in one of his videos.
Bernard Albertson's life story has advised many people to stop procrastinating. Procrastination is the act of delaying or postponing a task or set of tasks or waiting for the perfect time.

How much time do you spend every day debating with yourself whether you should go and study or just procrastinate a little longer? My advice is that sometimes we have to ignore what we are feeling and just go through the act of getting things done. We might feel like doing something like watching TV and postponing the actual important work. We might not feel like doing something and instead of not doing it, we should  just go ahead with the task that we have and get it over with. Get out there and do what we're supposed to do.

It's a problem that most students have. They negotiate with procrastination, and at first it's difficult to overcome but the more we do it the more we make out of it. We should study even when we don't feel like it, the easier it'll become.
Waking up early at about 4:00 am  has helped me a lot. It gives me a fresh new start to each day. Bonus point is when we wake up this early we get to offer the Fajr prayer early. We can even revise a bit on the subjects we have that day. We could even catch up on the news earlier this way.
Don't just survive, choose to thrive. Wake up early, get ready, pray, and focus on who you want to be and what you want to accomplish. Then go for it!

Studying hard, even when it seems impossible, even if it takes time, even if we have to stay up a few extra hours at night, just remember that the feeling of success is the best thing in the entire world. Keep in mind, to be in the top 1% we have to be willing to do what the other 99% aren't.
Procrastination is a thief of time. So if we constantly keep procrastinating, try using a bullet journal it'll help a lot! Imagine your future self has come 10 or 20 years from now standing right at your doorstep. A smarter, wiser, wealthier and healthier version of yourself. What are the things that you think that your future self will tell you to stop doing and start doing? Believe in yourself and start doing those things.
2020 will be your year if you just overcome procrastination…. It's never too late.
