Praying Namadh in the School premises

It is praiseworthy that the Maradhoo School is conducting daily Duhr prayer in the school premises for both students and school staff. This commitment is helping students not to deviate from daily prayers and creating an interest to practice Islam regularly.

Students are instructed to leave the classroom after lunch for ablution. The respective class teachers and specially assigned staff supervise the students to ensure the fulfilment of ablution in the proper manner. Then they are taken to the arranged prayer area and are asked to form in lines.

Before prayer starts, the students are encouraged to read Quran and one of the male staff leads the prayer. This daily practice helps the school to implement a sense of commitment and responsibility among the students, which has a positive impact on the studies and results of the whole school.
