Changing Schools

Although I am a student, I have traveled a lot and hopefully will travel a lot more. As a result, I got the opportunity to study in different schools in Male and Addu. So far I've studied in almost 12 schools if the preschools are included and I am only in eighth grade now. The last school that I went to was Kalaafaanu school in Male. I loved that school very much, not only because I have great memories there, but also because I have so many classmates who have become very good friends.

I had great friends in Kalaafaanu school. They always helped if I didn't know and I tried to help them as much as I could. I try to keep in touch with them as much as I can. When I changed schools, it was not much of a shock. Partly because I had experience in doing so and I was excited to come back to Maradhoo school. It was in this school that I finished my first grade.
I believe that changing schools can be a great experience. That is if you believe it. The first time I changed schools, I was quite sad. But I made myself believe that it was a chance many do not get, and I decided to make the best use of this chance. Now, because of this experience, learning how to get along with almost anyone is inevitable. The reason I say this is because it is only after we communicate with a lot of people, we get to know how to get along with them.
Maradhoo school brought many memories back. I met some of my pre-school classmates and teachers as well. It is a lot different than it used to be. Not only the buildings and infrastructure but also the way things are. Hats off to our Principal, the first time I heard him, it was clear that he wanted the rules to be followed with obedience. When I first came it was very welcoming. And I believe it still is.
I would like to conclude by saying, change is impossible to avoid and it's best to be ready. Nothing is impossible, but that also means there are chances for us to fail. It's like the life story of Thomas Edison. He failed a mighty 10000 times but in the end, got what he wanted.
