Eid Al- Fitr: A Synopsis

Eid is an Islamic festival, where families come together. It is the time of the year where Muslims have fun, get together with friends and family as a whole. It is a time to be ourselves and enjoy. Not going to work or be busy with the day to day jobs. It is a time to rejoice and celebrate.

There are two types of Eid,
1. Eid Al-Fitr and
2. Eid Al-Azha.

Eid Al-Fitr is also known as the "Festival of Breaking the Fast". It is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims all over the world. It marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan during which all the Muslims fast from the dawn to the sunset of everyday.

Eid is full of fun and excitement. There are no words that can explain the joy and happiness we experience. It is an environment filled with ecstasy and celebration. It is the rejoicing of the bounties that have been bestowed upon us by the Almighty Allah.

My warmest and heartiest Eid wishes to all my teachers, school- mates and readers of this blog.
