This pandemic has affected almost every human in this planet and the whole idea of normalcy has been changed and will be changed for a few years to come. But the busy human life has not stopped. Humans have decided to evolve and gradually adapt to the present living situation, just like they have, many times before in the past.
Schools started functioning and there are new norms, rules and regulations that have to be followed. But that didn't stop us from starting and continuing education. It is going to be three months now and it can be easily said that this was an idea that changed the education system.
Now, we not only have online classes and tele classes but also physical classes. However, there was always the question in the hearts of many students and some teachers, as to how the extra-curricular activities would be carried out.
Under the guidance of our principal Mr. Abdul Latheef Ali, one such activity was conducted the past week. The leading teacher of the media club Ms. Aishath Labeega organised the first media club activity post lockdown.
The activity conducted was the first of the four sessions in which students were guided and trained on using Google Slides. The session was conducted by Mr. Mohammad Ameen, English Teacher as well as a media club member.
Students from the media club as well as other volunteers from grade 7 and grade 8 participated. In the session all the basic introduction along with information about templates and layouts were discussed in detail.
The session was held through Google Meet. And in the future sessions, further aspects of Google Slides would be covered and completed in detail.
