Professional Development Session on Device Training

It is evident that technology has to be blended in education to not only be interesting but to be relatable, charismatic and understandable. There is also the fact that not every one is as tech-savvy as needed. But that is a shortcoming that can be easily conquered.

Our recent Professional Development was targeted towards overcoming this shortcoming. The idea was a very simple one to train all the teachers understand the features of the devices in the school as well as the correct way of operating them.

The training was conducted by three people. Mr. Ibrahim Athif who trained the teachers in the foundation stage as well as the teachers in  key stage one. Mr. Ahmed Inaz Alimanik trained the teachers of key stage two. And also by Mr. Mohamed Hassan who trained the teachers of key stage three.

This session was quite interesting and at the same time informative. It was also a good group activity for all the teachers to participate and learn. The key characteristic of the session was that not only the explanation of all the features and demonstration of how to incorporate in the classroom but also an opportunity for teachers to do it themselves, check and experience it themselves.

There was also a question answer session at the end where all were able to discuss the problems they face in the classroom and all the troubleshoot they have to follow in order to overcome them which was really helpful for all the teachers.
