New Beginnings

The legendary T.S. Elliot once said that, "Every moment is a fresh beginning". With the start of the new year, we also start our new term. Though in the past we began a new academic year with the new year, this year we are going to continue the academic year of 2020. We should all start this year with a lot of gratitude, appreciation and pride for ourselves. Everyone of us had to deal with a sudden change that flipped our lives upside down.

The beauty of this is though the amazing ability of human to adapt and move on. We should all pat ourselves on the back for, how awesomely we dealt with the situation. And how careful we were, not only for our wellbeing but for everyone around us.

With the beginning of this second term in this new year, I wish all the students try to bring out their best to make it a triumphant year. We must all remember to stay positive and look forward to soar new heights and create new definitions of success.

I had once read a story about a woman named Star who at the time was about to be forty soon. She always dreamt of going to Paris but with three children to take care of and no savings she had accepted that it would be impossible to do it. One day while on the bus home from her work, she saw a woman who was sitting next to her blow her nose. On the tissue that the woman used there were stars and the Eiffel Tower. Her name being Star, she took it as a sign. And when she checked she found that there was a timeshare in Paris that cost very little and was available on her birthday. And the place was just three miles away from the Eiffel Tower. Like Star, try to find the signs that you get in order to achieve your goals.

So whenever we get a chance to do our best we must seize the opportunity and go for it. Our school has made sure that children get the best of everything and with that in mind I hope the students utilize it to better themselves personally as well as academically in this new term.

The teachers reported to the school on the fifth of January and a virtual parent meeting was held the next day wherein all the new policies were discussed with the parents. The teachers have started decorating the classrooms to welcome the students who will start the term on the tenth of this month. Looking forward to a bright and vibrant year ahead filled with optimism, joy and love.
