New Beginnings, Newer Achievements and a Joyous Celebration

In the name of Allah most gracious and the most merciful.

On behalf of the whole Maradhoo School Family, greetings and heartfelt wishes for the Islamic New Year. With the start of the new year and the dawn of a new day, all the schools in Maldives have officially started their new academic year. However, the start of the academic year at our school was very memorable and incredibly special for all the right reasons.

The opening of Key Stage 4 at our school was the major cause of our euphoria. This has been a long time dream that has now come to fruition. All the credit goes to the collaborated efforts of the Principal, the teachers, the parents, the many well-wishers of our school and the community of our island.

Another noteworthy success is the school's expansion to a student body of 400+ students. This achievement demonstrates that Maradhoo School has consistently provided children with excellent academic proficiency and a comprehensive education. Our school's vision is to be recognised as the school of excellence that provides exceptional learning experience. And this just takes us one step closer towards achieving it.

Mr. Ali Nizar, the mayor of Addu City, was the Chief Guest, and his message encouraged us. Ms. Aminath Adhala Rasheed, the councillor of Hithadhoo, and other dignitaries graced the occasion with their presence. The mayor felicitated the students and teachers of our school on their achievements in international competitions. The parent handbook of our school and photo booth for the event were also unveiled.

Special dhua was made to begin the new academic year. The day came to an end with the students enjoying a break, having refreshments in their classroom and taking photos with their teachers. It is true that everything works out in the end. But, with such a promising start, we are certain that the rest of the year will be as impressive. Insha Allah!
