Parent Orientation for the New Academic Year

Parents play an integral part in the well-being of a school. As they play an equally important role in the progress of the students. The involvement of parents in the student development is an absolute essential. To enable this, a good communication between the parents and the school is a key factor.

In the first week of August, our school held an orientation session for parents to review the kids' achievements over the last academic year, as well as the protocols that must be followed during a pandemic. The Principal led the orientation session, explaining the significance of vaccinating the students and how it would be carried out. He also talked about the method of carrying out school activities, as well as the new modifications that will be implemented.

The opening day assembly along with the timing of the session was also discussed. The topic of student uniform was also explored in depth by Leading Teacher, Ms. Khadeeja Mazeena. The meeting concluded with a Q&A session with the parents.

Communication is crucial for the effective working of any relationship. The relationship between the school and the parent is made healthier through transparency, trust and sheer belief. This orientation session was another step towards making the bond between our school and the parents stronger.
