Vaccination is a simple, safe, and efficient approach to protect people against terrible diseases before they get affected. It strengthens your immune system by utilizing your body's inherent defences to create resistance to particular illnesses.
Vaccines teach your immune system to make antibodies in the same way that it does when you're exposed to a disease. Vaccines, on the other hand, do not cause illness or put you in danger of problems since they only include dead or weakened versions of pathogens like viruses or bacteria.
The vaccination program of our students began at 8:30 a.m. in our school. The students escorted by their parents were seen waiting to get the vaccines on the school ground. The parents were asked to fill a medical form to give details about their child's health.
The team from the HPA and the Council of Maradhoo were wearing masks and using personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with the HPA standards to monitor the event. A group of doctors and nurses were present to vaccinate the students. The vaccination took place in the school library. Parents and students were asked to adhere to the HPA rules and maintain a 3-foot distance.
Before the vaccination, the temperature was checked to ensure that the person was ready to be vaccinated. After being vaccinated, the students were brought to the relaxation area for a few minutes before being served milk and refreshments. The school stated that the immunization card will be delivered as soon as the HPA official website was updated to the relevant ones in the next few days.
Our esteemed Principal thanked the school administration for their efforts and promised that additional initiatives like this will be implemented in the future. The students and the parents expressed their thoughts towards immunization.
We really hope that this is another step taken towards fighting the deadly virus and standing stronger in front of it, together as a community. Education must go on. This vaccination programme is just going to let more students come back to school. Insha Allah!
