Investiture 2021

‘If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, then you are a leader.’

Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2021-2022 was held in our school premises on October 27 to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of the school to lead the school from the front with their commitment, confidence, and competence.

The ceremony was initiated with great enthusiasm. It was the occasion where the young students were prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feeling of being an important and an integral part of the administrative body, ‘Student Council’ is formed every year. PTA Members and Parents were invited to the ceremony and were very happy to see their children receive accolades.

The chief guest of the ceremony was Mr. Asim Abdul Sattar, the dean of faculty of arts at Maldives National University. A man of distinct vision and a fountainhead of illuminating ideas who is an idol of knowledge, experience, and an inspiration to all of us presided over the ceremony along with our beloved Principal Mr. Abdul Latheef Ali.

The event began with a welcome song from the tiny tots of our school. This was followed by the Quran recitation by Abdullah Ilyas of grade 4 and a welcome address by Ali Majil Mohamed Fahumee of Grade 8. Further, the student prefects and leaders took part in the ceremonious oath-taking. Following, this was the induction of the prefects and leaders, the Chief Guest and the Principal embodied the contribution of the school’s convention of delegating responsibility to the newly elected office bearers to spread the light of knowledge and pass on the rich legacy of our school values. They felicitated the prefects and the leaders with sashes, tags, and certificates. 

 

The PTA members of the previous academic year were congratulated and were awarded with certificates for their contribution. And the PTA of this new academic year were inducted after this. Ms. Fathimath Shifaza, the present PTA Vice-President addressed the gathering and shared the goals for this academic year. Following this, the Chief Guest addressed the gathering and congratulated the prefects and the PTA. It was a proud moment for all the parents to witness their children being invested as they embarked on a new journey as leaders.

The ceremony concluded with the national anthem and a photo session to capture the memory.
