Last week, our school celebrated World Scout Day and World Thinking Day. On February 22nd, World Scout Day and World Thinking Day are observed to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Robert Baden- Powell, who established the Boy Scout movement and the Girl Guide Movement. This is a day of international friendship.
Scouting, often known as the Scout Movement, aims to assist young people in developing their physical, mental, and spiritual talents. The Little Maids program at our school supports the Girl Guide movement, whereas the Scout program promotes the Scout movement.
The Holy Quran was recited at the beginning of the ceremony. One student from the little maids and one from the scouts each described the significance of World Thinking Day and World Scout Day to the gathering respectively.
Following, this the students took a pledge in order to live up to the movement's principle and adhere to its regulations. The year the theme of the World Thinking Day was 'Our World: Our Equal Future: The Environment and Gender Equality'.
A fundraiser was conducted by the little maids and cub scouts. The PTA members, office staff, and leaders of cub scouts, and little maid helped in setting up this event. Ice Cream was sold in this fundraiser.
The soothing cold ice cream on a warm sunny day was a quick seller and made the fundraiser a successful one.
