Ever since our school received a call from MoE it has been such an overwhelming and exhilarating news. An opportunity to not only welcome the honorable First Lady of the Maldives Ms. Fazna Ahmed along with the Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali but also the exquisite chance to have them open the new building of our school was an absolute delight.
The whole school was decorated and it was made sure that every inch of the school looked exceptional as always. This was done by the combined efforts of all the staff of our school. The cadet and band students welcomed the esteemed dignitaries. It is true that people have the power to elevate the standards of any gathering they are a part of, as we all got to experience this today.
The program began as all good things do with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mohamed Zakee Mujthuba Zahir of grade 7A. It was followed by a welcome dance by students of Key Stage 1. Aishath Ifaau Ahmed Rasheed of 8A hosted the program.
Further, there was a motivating and captivating speech by our Principal who thanked everyone who was significant in their contribution to our school. The program continued with the ribbon-cutting ceremony and ended with a photo session.
