Recently, our school was honored to have the presence of the
Vice President of Maldives, Mr. Faisal Naseem during an official visit to Addu
city. His excellency was greeted at the school gate by Vice Captain, Aishath
Aneega along with the cadets and school band who played an important role as
the guards of honor.
The Ceremony began with the recitation of holy Quran by the
activities captain, Aishath Aala Arif followed by the agenda from the deputy
activities captain, Izha Binth Nazeer. After that was a speech of gratitude by
the school captain, Ahmed Alan Umar who expressed his appreciation
wholeheartedly on behalf of the entire school. This was followed by a special
performance from the school prefects who highlighted their thoughts and dreams
about the school in the form of a traditional ‘bandhi’. The ceremony was
concluded with a joyous dance from the students of key stage 1. With this, the
guests were shown to some of the classrooms, focusing especially on the Hope class
for special needs students.
His excellency met with the senior management and inquired about the schools current situation and spoke about the development plans for the schools education sector.
Once
again, we express our utmost appreciation to Vice President Mr. Faisal Naseem
for gracing us with his presence.
